Double Success for Education Law Experts

A Cumbria law firm is celebrating a double success after securing two national education sector contracts.

Burnetts Solicitors in Carlisle has been awarded contracts to supply legal services to both the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and Preston College. The contracts were won after a competitive tender process which lasted nearly four months.

A series of free Open Days at a Cumbria solicitors aims to give people who have suffered medical accidents an opportunity to talk through their concerns.

Bull Semen Blunder Costs £67,000

A Cumbrian artificial insemination centre has been ordered to pay £67,945 in damages to a prize winning farmer after it wrongly labelled the semen of a valuable Aberdeen-Angus bull.

Cumbria Ladies are National Champions

After a 700 mile round trip and four fierce challenges, Cumbria women’s senior hockey team has retained its national championship title. The successful team is sponsored by Burnetts Solicitors and coached by Managing Partner Tom Leach.

Law for Landlords

Burnetts Solicitors in Carlisle, Cumbria is hosting a free legal update for property landlords. Law for Landlords takes place in the library of Burnetts' Victoria Place offices on 12th June.

Student lets is the theme of the update with advice from Burnetts’ experts on managing Houses in Multiple Occupation and dealing with problem tenants.
