Amy trained as a family lawyer at Osbornes Solicitors, Camden Town, and qualified in 2001.
 
She undertakes all aspects of family law including divorce, matrimonial financial proceedings, cohabitation disputes, applications concerning residence and contact with children, public law care proceedings and domestic violence injunctions. She has also taken on more unusual cases such as applications for leave to remove children from this country and child abduction work. Amy is a Resolution accredited specialist and the Chair of North Cumbria Resolution as well as Co-ordinator of the Cumbria Childcare Forum.

Amy works for both publicly funded and privately-paying clients. She joined Burnetts in November 2002 and became a Partner in 2007.
