Amy trained as a family lawyer at Osbornes Solicitors, Camden Town, and qualified in 2001.
 
She undertakes all aspects of family law including divorce, matrimonial financial proceedings, cohabitation disputes, applications concerning residence and contact with children, public law care proceedings and domestic violence injunctions. She has also taken on more unusual cases such as applications for leave to remove children from this country and child abduction work.

Amy is a Resolution accredited specialist, a qualified collaborative lawyer and a member of the Law Society's Children Law Accreditation Scheme. She is also the Chair of North Cumbria Resolution and Co-ordinator of the Cumbria Childcare Forum.

Amy works for privately-paying clients. She joined Burnetts in November 2002 and became a Partner in 2007.
