Burnetts’ six-strong commercial property team is headed by Partner, John Priddle.

John is supported by Partners, Alan Chapman, Tony Lake and Douglas Claxton: Alan specialises in construction, advising clients on site acquisition and development; Tony is an expert on business leases and business sales / acquisitions; Douglas Claxton is one of the few members of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Planning Law Accreditation Scheme in Cumbria and advises clients through difficult planning applications as well as inquiries.

Practising Consultant Tim Southorn joined the team in 2008 and is a specialist in residential and commercial developments. Solicitor Katie Moreton acts in sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold commercial property and development land.

Legal assistant Glenda Graham works exclusively on conveyancing for house-building clients.
