Douglas Claxton

Douglas Claxton is a Partner at Burnetts and head of the Family Law department. He has a particular specialism in complex or high value divorces, especially those involving pension or business assets.

He joined Burnetts in 1974 and became a partner in 1979. A former president of Carlisle and District Law Society, Douglas started his legal career in articles with Carlisle City Council.
