Increasingly, individuals are taking out legal expenses insurance either specifically or (often unknown to them) as part of their household contents insurance policy.

It is always worth checking whether such insurance is available to you and, if so, what its terms cover: it might be, for example, that any insurance would only become available if a dispute were to become a claim in the Court of Employment Tribunal.
