The employment law department of Burnetts Solicitors in Carlisle, Cumbria is headed by Senior Partner John Morris who is Chairman of the Employment Committee of the Law Society of England which, amongst other things, advises the Government upon the implications of proposed legislation and general employment law issues

Partners Kuba Strycharczyk and Joanne Stronach  are also employment lawyers. Kuba specialises in advocacy and issues like race discrimination: he has presented seminars on employing foreign workers.

Joanne is an expert in equal opportunities legislation, bullying and stress in the workplace whilst Partner Natalie Ruane advises on pension practice and law.

Solicitor Katie Sinclair, joined the employment law team in July 2006. Solicitor Hazel Phillips, arrived in September 2006.
