Firm gets Future ProofA Carlisle legal firm is preparing for the future with a trio of promotions to bring enhanced energy to its partnership. Burnetts Solicitors announced this week that Joanne Stronach, an employment solicitor, becomes the firm's youngest Partner. Meanwhile, local woman, Victoria Watson is upgraded to Associate Solicitor along with Yorkshire man, Alex McKnight. Victoria is a clinical negligence lawyer and Alex is a litigation specialist. Tom Leach, Burnetts Managing Partner said, "The appointment of a new partner is about recognition as well as preparation for the future. Joanne is highly regarded by her clients and has established a high profile in the area through her involvement in local business rganisations." At 35, Joanne Stronach will be the law firm's youngest Partner. She said, "Burnetts Employment Team is going from strength to strength and it's very exciting being part of that. I think this round of promotions shows that the firm is looking to the future. For me, it's rewarding to be a younger woman reaching the heights of upper management!" Victoria Watson, 36, was born in Carlisle. She joined Burnetts from Pauline L Butler in 2004 and has already successfully taken large clinical negligence cases to trial. Alex McKnight, 33, qualified in 1998 and is part of Burnetts Civil Litigation Department as well as being involved in the firm's Construction Law team. He will soon be taking charge of the Debt Recovery section. Like Victoria, he lives in Carlisle. 10th January, 2006 |
