Kenny Ling

Assistant Solicitor

Construction and engineering solicitor Kenny Ling first joined Burnetts in 2007.

A Geography graduate from Liverpool University, Kenny travelled extensively through Australia and the Far East before returning to his home town of Carlisle.

He then studied Law at Northumbria University whilst working locally as a law costs draftsman.  He qualified in September 2009.

During his time at Burnetts, Kenny has focused on commercial law and has spent time working in the corporate, disputes and commercial property departments where he has been involved in projects involving housing associations, mutual land transfers and construction disputes.

He particularly enjoys commercial contractual work and recently spent two months on a part-time basis in the Contracts department of one of the firm’s higher education clients. He also has an interest in public procurement.

Kenny is an active BNI member, an Associate Member of the Procurement Law Academic Network and until recently was Chair of Carlisle Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
