Within Burnetts' medical law team are five specialist solicitors working exclusively in this field and a number of support staff.

The team is headed by Vicki Jagger who is a partner with Burnetts and has over 20 years' experience of dealing with medical law issues.  She particularly specialises in complex cases of high value, especially for children including birth related problems.  Vicki is a member of both the AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) solicitors' panel and the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

Like Vicki, Partner Angela Curran is an expert in birth trauma cases, working extensively with children with cerebral palsy. Accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s (SRA) for her experience in both Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury cases, Angela is also a member of the Court of Appeal Medication Panel.

Partner Victoria Watson born and bred in Cumbria, has over ten years' experience in medical law. She has a particular interest in cases following bereavement or gynaecology-related cases.

Solicitor, Ruth Keenleyside has also spent a decade working in clinical negligence and is a member of the well-respected AvMA panel. Lynne Hall joined the medical law team in January 2007.
