Sue ChappellAssistant SolicitorFormer CID officer, Sue Chappell is a solicitor in Burnetts’ Personal Injury department. Middlesbrough-born Sue studied Law as a mature student whilst continuing to work as a police officer in Barrow in Furness. She completed her training with Burnetts in 2004 before taking on a permanent role as a Personal Injury solicitor. Sue now advises clients with a variety of injuries: her caseload includes clients claiming damages for injuries sustained in car, bus or train accidents as well as accidents at work. A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Sue has a special interest in industrial diseases such as asbestos-related illnesses, vibration white finger or other repetitive strain injuries. Working with Burnetts’ Wills & Trusts team, Sue has also recovered thousands of pounds for older clients who have been wrongly charged for nursing home care. A keen runner, Sue has twice completed the gruelling Great North Run. |
