Lawyers Online Continues for 2012

By Angela Huck on .

Webinars are online seminars or ‘web-seminars’ hosted and delivered live and direct  to your computer desktop. Attendees can view the contents of the presentation on their screens and listen to the audio on their computer speakers, or using their telephone handset. The webinar format allows attendees to ask questions and give feedback through interactive live polls.

The first session of 2012 begins on Thursday 29th March, with ‘How to manage repetitive short-term sickness absence’, which will be hosted by Employment Law Partner, Joanne Stronach. Joanne will advise management and HR teams on how to effectively record, manage and reduce cases of repetitive short term absence in the workplace.

Joanne says ‘With the economic belt continuing to tighten, Burnetts’ webinars are an affordable, time efficient and convenient way for both employers and employees to stay up to date with new legislation and increase their knowledge of ways to identify and deal with common business problems.

Each webinar lasts around 1 hour and is specifically scheduled over the lunch hour to fit into the working day of busy professionals. Presenting online means factors such as travel time and cost for attendees are eliminated and although the webinars are held as live events, each session is recorded so anyone who isn’t available during the event can review it at a later time on our website.’
