Family law is Simon’s specialism and he has extensive experience in all areas of family law. Having qualified in 1982 Simon became a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Children Law Accreditation Scheme in 1988 and has practised extensively in child care cases representing both parents and children.

Simon is also a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Family Law Accreditation Scheme and he is an accredited specialist member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). He has a large divorce practice, frequently dealing with high value cases involving substantial assets and pensions. He also has specific expertise in resolving issues of property and children for unmarried couples.

Simon joined Burnetts in 1988 and has been a Partner since 1992.
