Hazel Phillips

Profile

Hazel Phillips read Law with French at Hull University and spent a year working at the European Parliament at Strasburg before travelling round the world. She completed her LPC at Chester College of Law and her training at Shakespeares in Birmingham. She joined Burnetts as an Assistant Solicitor in 2006 and was promoted to Associate in 2010.

Hazel currently advises commercial clients on a wide range of employment issues including tribunal claims, compromise agreements, contracts and age discrimination.  She is a regular guest on BBC Radio Cumbria and the author of Burnetts’ monthly employment law e-bulletin.

She has a particular interest in the education and charity sectors.
