Vicki Jagger qualified in 1981 and has over 20 years experience in the field of medical litigation.  She joined Burnetts in 1989, becoming a partner in 1992. 

Vicki has worked exclusively within medical law for more than fifteen years and is head of the firm’s successful Medical Law department.

After conducting a number of high value cases through to trial and having met the strict criteria, Vicki has successfully achieved membership of both the AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) panel and is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme. This membership enables Burnetts to conduct legally aided cases. Vicki is the only lawyer in Cumbria to be accredited by both Panels.

Complex cases, especially for children with birth related problems, are Vicki’s specialism - she has successfully recovered multi million pound damages for this type of claim.
