Burnetts to become a Business Member of the Spinal Injuries Association
2nd June 2021
Our Medical Negligence and Serious Injury (MNSI) Department is renowned for the exceptional support it gives to clients with spinal injuries as well as its specialist knowledge in this legal field and we are proud to announce that as a result of this, we have been invited to become a Business Member of the Spinal Injury Association (SIA).
The SIA, a national charity founded in 1974 by Baroness Masham of Ilton, is based in Milton Keynes and is the go-to organisation for those affected by spinal injury in the UK. Around 1700 people sustain a spinal cord injury in the UK each year and the SIA works hard to provide them with the practical advice, support and treatment they need to live a fulfilled life.
We have always been proud of our long-standing relationship with the SIA and our MNSI department has often been a recipient of its referrals and recommendations.
Spencer Knaggs, Partner and Head of the MNSI Department said of our invitation to become a Business Member: “We work hard to make a real, lasting difference for our clients and to have a significant positive impact on their quality of life. To be invited to join the SIA in this way is an honour, we have huge respect for the charity and the work it does and we look forward to be a part of their force for good in the future.”
