Gloweek 2022
31st October 2022
This week is GloWeek, run by the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) to raise awareness of being seen, not hurt when the days become shorter in the winter months. As the nights draw in, it’s important that we all stay safe by being seen, so CBIT’s aim this week is to create the brightest GloWeek ever.
This year for GloWeek 2022, the charity is asking everyone to make a pledge in support of its campaign. It is asking us all to pledge to have a conversation – yes, it really is that simple. Have a conversation with a child or young person about the importance of road safety and being bright when out and about (especially in the dark). Why do we need to wear bright colours? Why is it important to have reflective gear when cycling?
This simple pledge will get conversations started and encourage / educate children and young people about CBIT’s key message to ‘Be Seen, Not Hurt’.
