
We discuss the new no-fault divorce on BBC Radio Cumbria

Our Family lawyer Jamie-Lee Morgan was a guest on BBC Radio Cumbria yesterday and discussed with Matt Bailey the changes to the divorce law in England & Wales. The changes, which came into force on the 6th April, put an end to the blame culture that previously surrounded divorce proceedings and introduced the ‘no-fault divorce’.
Now one or both parties together can file for divorce without declaring fault on either part and need only state that the marriage has irretrievably broken down.
