Rosewain and Bridge House Farms, Wigton

Frank, Margaret, Philip and James Mattinson run Rosewain and Bridge House Farms in Wigton and are internationally recognised for their exceptional herd of pedigree Ayrshires.

We have worked with the family for many years and assisted them with a range of matters including the acquisition of Bridge House Farm and negotiations with Network Rail with regards to the surrendered underpass at Rosewain Farm.

The Mattinsons are forward-thinking and constantly evolving their farming methods. At their state of the art dairy facility, the herd is milked twice a day through a Fullwood 36:36 parlour and is fed 20 times per day using the first Triolet robot feeder to be installed in the UK.
