Our Family department is highly rated in both Chambers and the Legal 500 and we are looking to strengthen the team with the recruitment of a NQ lawyer to assist with strategic expansion.
Applications will also be considered from trainee solicitors nearing the completion of their training contract who have undertaken a seat in Family and are keen to qualify into this specialism.
This is a great opportunity to join Cumbria’s leading Family team which has a thriving Private Client practice and a wide breadth of experience working in a modern collaborative environment. You will be encouraged to develop your career in the team and gain experience in both financial work and in private law children’s cases. The successful candidate will work from Carlisle offices with flexible working options.
Who are we looking for?
You will be involved in a range of Family work, concentrating on the financial consequences of divorce as well as private law children’s work. We have a strong reputation in dealing with financial remedy cases involving businesses and farms as well as representing and advising professionals and uniformed services, particularly with reference to their pensions.
As an NQ lawyer, you will be looking to strengthen and develop your technical expertise, establish positive client relationships and grow your ability to use the Courts and ADR to best effect for our clients.
