Year One
Each year we select up to three candidates who have serious ambitions in terms of a career in law. Selection is by way of formal application, plus an interview which provides valuable experience of the process for later in their career.
Successful candidates will spend one week shadowing in our offices at a time convenient to both parties, usually during the school Summer holidays. To ensure they get the most from their time with us, we’ll provide a thorough introduction to our business and they’ll get to experience at least five of our departments.
In the following September, we will select those who will progress to Year Two of the scheme.
Year Two
If selected, candidates will be invited for further work experience during Year 13 or their first year of university, and this will follow a similar programme to Year One.
Successful completion of Year Two may lead to an ongoing relationship with the firm which will see further invitations to spend time with us and expand your early legal experience.
In support of local candidates, we welcome applications to this scheme from those residing in the North East and Cumbrian regions.
