Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society supports Child Brain Injury Trust
We’re proud to be an appointed partner of Child Brain Injury Trust’s (CBIT) Legal Support Service (which enables families and young people in the North East who are affected by childhood-acquired brain injury to access free, independent legal advice) and so we were delighted to hear this week that Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society, whose President is our Partner and Brain Injury Lead Paul Brown, has officially selected CBIT as its Charity of the Year.
Paul (pictured above), speaking as both President of the Society and a legal professional with a deep understanding of the effects of brain injury, said:
“As someone who works closely with families affected by brain injury, I know just how vital the Child Brain Injury Trust’s work is. It’s an honour to choose Child Brain Injury Trust as my President’s charity of the year, support them throughout this year and to see our community come together so generously at our Summer Party. This is just the beginning, as we look forward to continuing our fundraising efforts and championing the life-changing work Child Brain Injury Trust does every day.”
