A new Senior Associate for our Commercial Property team…

Our Commercial Property team has a new Senior Associate.  Sarah Carr-Baugh previously worked for an international law firm and specialised in due diligence on large commercial transactions. She joined our Commercial Property team this month and will advise on all areas of commercial property, with a special focus on acquisitions, disposals and high value leasehold work.

Sarah completed qualification with a leading West End firm, where she dealt with some of the UK’s biggest landlords and other high net worth clients, specialising in commercial property.

Following a career break, in which she raised three sons, Sarah resumed her legal career, gaining a broad range of experience through work in a range of settings, from local authority to high street and virtual private practice, in a lead commercial property capacity.

Public law work has seen Sarah’s involvement in high value projects, such as advising on disposal of a regional airport and of leasehold interests on a large industrial estate, whilst her acquisitions work has included the transfer of one of the largest industrial warehousing developments in Europe.  Private practice has also seen her dealing with a wide range of landlord and tenant matters, including lease completion of behalf of clients based in central London and the USA.

Sarah has developed a particular interest in handling deals that involve a public-private interface, working on both sides of transactions, for public authorities and businesses.  In this setting, she has been able to develop her capabilities in a variety of specialist areas, including EV charging point leasing and leasehold enfranchisement.
