Burnetts is officially one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2024…

We’re very pleased to announce that Burnetts has earned a spot on this year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list by Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

The Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list focuses on employees’ holistic experiences of wellbeing at work, including their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction, and financial security.

Our inclusion on this exclusive list officially acknowledges our commitment to create a consistently and overwhelmingly positive employee experience, to foster cultures that are proven to drive business, improve lives, and better society.

It’s something we’ve worked especially hard on over the last few years, resulting in the provision of several new and enhanced benefits.  For example, as we are really family orientated, we improved our maternity, paternity and adoption policies to ensure that all new parents are able to spend quality time with their new children.  We introduced private medical insurance for every member of staff at no cost to themselves, and we increased our holiday provision to 30 days for everyone, to ensure people get adequate rest and downtime throughout the year.  We also have a range of other benefits which support wellbeing such as an annual team fun day out, a money saving and wellbeing platform, and we are due to launch a new benefit this year where every employee can receive a personalised wellbeing report.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List, Great Place To Work® reviewed our culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from our employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark our company’s employee value proposition against the culture our employees actually experience. Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.
