Commitment the key to top rankings

The Newcastle trio represents three of 24 lawyers from Burnetts who have been ranked in the prestigious legal sector directory with commitment to clients being the most-cited reason for the lawyers’ top rankings.

Angela Curran, Head of Burnetts’ Medical Negligence & Serious Injury team is described as a “very charismatic and client-focused” lawyer who “works tirelessly” on behalf of her clients.

Paul Brown, an Associate Solicitor and specialist in serious injury claims was praised for being a “top drawer” solicitor who “fights the corner for his clients” and is noted for his “gentle and considered manner while having a firm grip on each of his cases and a determined approach to litigation.”

Head of Corporate Law, Vaughan Jones is recommended for being “very knowledgeable and responsive” as well as “sharp as a razor”.

Alongside lawyers’ individual rankings, firms are also ranked for team specialisms: four of the firm’s teams warrant the highest, Top Tier ranking: Corporate and Commercial; Commercial Litigation; Commercial Property and Education.
