Proud to sponsor the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park Award…
The Cumbria Tourism Awards 2026 brought together some of the county’s most inspiring tourism businesses last week, celebrating the people, innovation and dedication that continue to make Cumbria one of the UK’s leading visitor destinations.
As a Strategic Partner of Cumbria Tourism, we were delighted to sponsor the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year award, which was presented to Holgates Holiday Parks, Silverdale following a rigorous judging process recognising excellence across the visitor economy.
Congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted and to all of this year’s winners.
Celebrating the very best of Cumbria tourism
Held at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, the annual Cumbria Tourism Awards are one of the most significant dates in the county’s tourism calendar.
The awards recognise businesses and individuals who consistently deliver outstanding visitor experiences while demonstrating excellence in areas including customer service, marketing, digital presence, sustainability and inclusivity.
This year’s ceremony brought together more than 260 representatives from across Cumbria’s visitor economy, showcasing the remarkable breadth and quality of businesses that make the county such a special place to visit. Many of the winners will now go on to represent Cumbria at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2027.
