Marking GloWeek 2025
Marking GloWeek 2025…
We’re always very proud to support the Child Brain Injury Trust‘s GloWeek which runs every Autumn and aims to help raise awareness of being seen, not hurt when the days become shorter in the winter months.
This year, to mark GloWeek, we provided glow bands for pupils at Chopwell Primary School in Gateshead which we visited together with Liz Twist MP, plus our Serious Injury Solicitor Hannah Fitzpatrick also joined Liz Burdis – the North East ABI Coordinator for Child Brain Injury Trust – at Whitley Bay Junior Park Run, to give out glow bands to the kids taking part there.

For GloWeek the Child Brain Injury Trust asks that we all make a pledge to have a conversation with a child or young person about the importance of road safety and being bright when out and about (especially in the dark).
The aim is that this simple pledge will get conversations started and encourage and educate children and young people on being seen, not hurt, and staying safe on the roads through the Winter months.
