
New charity partnership for Burnetts
Burnetts is delighted to announces its new charity of the year partnership with Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice.
Over the coming 12 months staff from Burnetts offices in Carlisle, Cockermouth, Penrith and Newcastle will be raising money to help the care, support and activities provided to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. Burnetts staff are hoping to organise their own fundraising events as well as taking part in events organised by the local charity.
Nick Gutteridge, Managing Partner at Burnetts said; “It is our privilege to be working with Jigsaw to raise funds to help provide essential services and support for children and young adults (and their families) across Cumbria. The wonderful care provided by all the staff at Jigsaw requires significant resources and all at Burnetts are pleased to be given the opportunity to play their part.”
Natalie Bingham, Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Jigsaw said; ‘’We are delighted that Burnetts have chosen Jigsaw as their charity partner for 2019. It looks set to be an exciting year and we can’t wait to start working alongside them!’’
Jigsaw is the children’s hospice for Cumbria. From Workington to Appleby, Barrow-in-Furness to Carlisle, Jigsaw provides unique care and support to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses.
The charity’s dedicated team of trained and highly skilled nurses, health care assistants and activity co-ordinators provide the individualised, complex nursing and therapeutic support each child and young adults needs. Jigsaw’s care is offered for free and without obligation.
