New Solicitors for Burnetts
Leading Cumbrian law firm Burnetts has two new solicitors.
Becky Brook and Grace Wren commenced their training contracts at Burnetts in September 2018, and have now qualified as solicitors.
Becky will join the Corporate team, and will be advising businesses and entrepreneurs on a wide range of matters.
She graduated from Northumbria University in 2015 with a first class MLaw exempting degree. After graduation she remained at the University and played an active part in the Student Recruitment team as a Graduate Ambassador and a Project Coordinator, working with local schools on behalf of five universities in the North East, to develop a programme of activities to encourage students to consider higher or further education.
Grace will join our Dispute Resolution team. Grace’s interests lie in disputes involving the agribusiness and commercial property sectors together, with contentious private client work.
She graduated from the University of York with a degree in Law and completed her Masters in Legal Practice at Northumbria University in 2018, where she achieved a distinction. Grace lives in Kirkby Stephen. Outside of work, she plays hockey for Kirkby Stephen Hockey Club and captains their second team.
Managing Partner Nick Gutteridge said: “Becky and Grace are both assets to the firm, and approach all aspects of their work with drive and enthusiasm. They worked throughout their training contracts to a very high standard, and with professionalism at all times”.
