Our Serious Injury team welcomes back Hannah Fitzpatrick…
We’re happy to announce that we’ve welcomed Partner Hannah Fitzpatrick to our Serious Injury team.
Hannah is a Serious Injury Solicitor specialising in representing clients with serious life changing injuries, including brain injuries and significant polytrauma and has extensive experience with cases involving children and young people who have sustained brain injuries.
She is also Secretary for Headway Darlington and District – a charity that supports people affected by brain injury in the Darlington, Dales and North Yorkshire area.
Hannah, who is recognised by Chambers and Partners, qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and worked at Burnetts for six years with a focus on birth trauma cases. After four years with another North East law firm she’s excited to return.
Hannah said:
“I am delighted to rejoin Burnetts and be part of its Serious Injury Team, which has an excellent reputation for providing specialist support to clients who have sustained life changing injuries. I am looking forward to working with the team and bringing my skills and experience to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.”
Spencer Knaggs, Partner and Head of our Serious Injury team said:
“We’re over the moon to be welcoming Hannah back. She is passionate about ensuring clients and their families receive access to rehabilitation and support and this fits perfectly with our ethos here at Burnetts – our focus is always on supporting our clients in making the best possible recovery and improving their quality of life following serious injuries. Hannah is a valuable addition to our team.”
Our Serious Injury team specialises in providing legal support in cases of catastrophic injury and is a business member and long term supporter of Spinal Injuries Association, as well as being on the recommended solicitors’ list for Headway and the UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum.
It is also an appointed partner of national charity the Child Brain Injury Trust in its nationwide Legal Support Service, enabling families and young people in the North East who are affected by childhood-acquired brain injury (ABI) to access free, independent legal advice.
