Paul Brown elected as President of Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society

Our Serious Injury Partner Paul Brown has been elected as President of Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society.

The Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society is approaching its 200th anniversary and serves solicitors throughout the North East of England – not just Newcastle – including Gateshead, Northumberland and County Durham. The Society supports the legal community across the North East and provides representatives on many local, regional and national legal committees, a wide-ranging legal education programme and a number of social events, including the President’s Summer Reception and the Newcastle Law Society Dinner.

Paul will serve as its 199th president and is looking forward to leading the society in the year ahead.

Paul said:

“It is a huge honour to have been elected as President of Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society especially in the year that the National Law Society celebrates its own Bicentenary. I look forward to supporting the wider legal community across the North-East. The theme of my year in office is Growth and I hope to play my part in helping to both grow the legal community in the North-East and the Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society itself. It is a great time to be a member of the Newcastle Upon Tyne Law Society with a number of member benefits and numerous fantastic events throughout the year.”
