We’ve been officially named in the 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women
This morning we found out we’ve been ranked in The 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women list launched by Great Place to Work® UK.
We are among 263 ranked UK organisations to have achieved a place in the list following anonymous reports from our team, for providing a great workplace for all, for striving for fair representation for women in our workforce and for helping both female and male employees to reach their full potential.
We’ve been recognised for going over and above to make our workplace a positive place for women by introducing an enhanced maternity policy, offering flexible working for all our employees to fit work around life, providing free sanitary products for our employees, holding educational talks and awareness sessions on menopause and crucially, ensuring equal pay across male and female employees.
We currently employ 140 people in total, 75% of whom are female and 44% are in senior roles. This recognition from Great Place to Work® UK is the result of the ongoing work of our Head of People Claire Harrison and her team.
Claire said:
“It is our aim to be the best employer for everyone, however we are thrilled to be recognised as a workplace where women can really thrive and maximise their potential.”
Nick Gutteridge, Managing Partner for Burnetts said:
“It is immensely pleasing for the business to be recognized by such a large proportion of our colleagues as an increasingly inclusive workplace. We will continue to strive to improve our working environment for all so that we can continue to attract and retain the best people to work with us.”
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK said:
“Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best WorkplacesTM for Women that the UK has ever recognised. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management.
“Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about.”
