Free Legal Advice in Penrith
Burnetts is running a series of free legal surgeries this Autumn.
The Penrith law firm is hosting monthly Thursday night surgeries in its Cornmarket office, starting with a free advice session on 24th September for anyone with family law problems.
The family law surgery will be hosted by solicitors Simon Mortimer and Amy Fallows. Free, one-to-one appointments are being offered to anyone who is going through a separation or who needs advice on shared parenting and contact with their children. Grandparents will also be able to get expert advice about their rights. Both Simon and Amy have been accredited by the Law Society for their specialist family law knowledge.
Following the family law surgery in September, solicitor Emma Baker will be hosting a wills and trusts surgery on 29th October and on 26th November, the agriculture team will be on hand to advise on legal farming issues such as tenancy issues, farm partnership problems and succession planning.
Natalie Ruane, who heads Burnetts’ Penrith office said, "We continue to run a full programme of briefings for businesses, but we also want to make sure that individuals can access the specialist services we provide for them. There are very few firms in Cumbria which can offer the depth of expertise available at Burnetts and so our free surgeries have been extremely popular in the past."
Each of the Thursday night surgeries takes place between 5.00pm and 8.00pm. Confidential, half hour appointments are available. Booking is not essential, but it is recommended. Appointments can be made by calling Suzanne Thompson on 01768 800855 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
