Law firm re-location

Burnetts is temporarily re-locating staff from its Rosehill office to its Victoria Place building.

Please note: As of June 2018, Burnetts' new Head Office location is at: Victoria House, Wavell Drive, Rosehill Industrial Estate, Carlisle CA1 2ST.

The move which is due to be completed by 7th July 2017 is the first stage of the firm’s longer term plan to bring together its Victoria Place and Rosehill offices. Ultimately all Carlisle staff will be based in one, modern building on the outskirts of the City.

Managing Partner Nick Gutteridge explained, “It had been our plan to move the Rosehill team directly into a new building. Unfortunately, because of works needed to our new home, that will not now be possible and a short-term solution is required. We are confident that staff from both offices will be together in our new offices within the next 6 months - this move is an interim measure.”

Burnetts’ current Rosehill office is home to approximately 40 staff from the firm’s property and medical negligence / serious injury teams. In order to minimise inconvenience for clients, the teams and their clients will continue to have access to meeting rooms at Rosehill.

The new address for these teams is 6 Victoria Place, Carlisle. CA1 1ES. The switchboard number remains unchanged at 01228 552222. Direct lines and email addresses (available from www.burnetts.co.uk) are also unaffected.

Please note: As of June 2018, Burnetts' new Head Office location is at: Victoria House, Wavell Drive, Rosehill Industrial Estate, Carlisle CA1 2ST.

Nick Gutteridge confirmed in February 2017 that the firm planned to move from its city centre offices in Victoria Place and that negotiations for a new, larger building were ongoing. Until all agreements in the complex series of interlinked contracts are finalised, Burnetts is not able to confirm the location of its proposed final home.
