New property specialists in Penrith
Two new property lawyers have joined Burnetts’ Penrith office.
Christina Foster, an Associate in the firm’s conveyancing team has permanently re-located to Penrith from Carlisle and Rob Mason, a Legal Executive specialising in commercial property has joined Burnetts from Butterworths.
Christina has worked exclusively in property law in Cumbria since qualifying as a solicitor in 2002 and has an in-depth knowledge of land and property issues in the region. As well as helping clients who are buying, selling or re-mortgaging residential property, she also advises on buy-to-let purchases and landlord and tenant law.
A qualified teacher from North East England, Christina spent seven months teaching English in the Ukraine and also speaks Danish.
Rob has over 40 years’ experience in legal practice and has worked with both public and private sector clients on commercial property projects including the sale, purchase and financing of numerous multi-million pound recycling plants and the leasing, planning and licensing of numerous restaurants. His role at Burnetts includes advising on commercial leases; handling property and business acquisitions and providing representation for lenders.
Rob Winder, who heads Burnetts’ Penrith office, said, “Now that Christina and Rob are based full-time in our Cornmarket office, we can provide a specialist and dedicated property service to Penrith clients. With Christina advising on residential property and Rob advising on commercial property, we have a strong team able to provide local and expert support in Penrith.”
Both Christina and Rob live in the Eden district.
