Sale of Jim Peet (Agriculture) Limited to NWF

Burnetts has advised on the sale of Cumbrian feed manufacturer Jim Peet (Agriculture) Limited to Cheshire-based NWF Group plc. The sale completed on Monday 29th February.

Jim Peet started trading in 1977 and has two production sites based in Longtown and Aspatria. The company supplies over 50,000 tonnes of feed to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the North of England and South West Scotland.

Partner Michael Walby led the corporate aspects of the transaction assisted by solicitor Melissa McManus, with Senior Associate Robbie Mather advising on property matters.

Robbie said, “We are delighted to have helped to deliver a successful outcome for the shareholders of Jim Peet. It was a real team effort from everyone involved in the transaction - clients and advisers”.

Lamont Pridmore also acted for the shareholders of Jim Peet on financial and accounting matters.
