Our Employment Law Retainer
With our Employment Law Retainer you can have our support on hand when you need it, establish your budget for the year and enjoy a 20% discount on our usual hourly rates…
- Set your budget with us at the start of the financial year so you know your costs from the outset.
- We’ll bill you for that amount and apply a 20% discount to our usual hourly rates for the time you take throughout the year, up to that value.
- You’ll have us on tap for Employment Law support – your own Employment Law team on hand for advice when you need it.
- We’ll provide you with quarterly updates on the work we’ve done for you, plus the amount of time you have left for the remainder of the year.
- If you use up all your time, you have the option to buy more with a 10% discount on our hourly rates.
- If you want to start your Retainer with us at a different point in the year, we can do that for you – just let us know!
What’s included?
All day to day, general employment law advice provided by our Employment Law team including:
- Legal advice and assistance
- Drafting legal documents, contracts and policies
- Providing strategic employment law advice at senior management meetings
- Preparation and provision of in-house employment law training
What isn’t included?
Some matters may be of such a complex nature or likely to require a significant level of hours of work, that it would not be practicable to include them under your Retainer contract. Instead, such matters can be serviced under separate and preferential project charging rates.
Examples of employment law projects include but are not limited to:
- Restructure/Redundancy
- TUPE
- Employment Tribunal Cases
- Trade Union Relations
Please note: Corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, where we are providing employment law advice as part of the wider Burnetts transaction team is not covered by the Retainer.
