Abigail is an Associate Solicitor in Burnetts' Property team.
Abigail Clucas is an Associate Solicitor in Burnetts' Commercial Property team. She joined Burnetts as a trainee solicitor in 2013, following a successful work experience placement with the firm, where she graduated with a degree in Law in 2015.
During her training period, Abigail has developed experience in advising both businesses and private clients in the dispute resolution, conveyancing, company commercial and commercial property teams. She is particularly interested in lease renewals and lease drafting, as well as freehold land and property transactions
Abigail studied law at Newcastle University, followed by her Legal Practice Certificate and Northumbria University. During her studies at Northumbria she worked as Assistant to Legal Counsel at Carrs Milling plc.
Formerly a competitive swimmer, Abigail was a swimmer at county, regional and national level and has competed in the UK school games. She now focuses more on triathlon and is a member of the Tri-Lakeland Club as well as the Cockermouth Masters. She lives in West Cumbria.
