Eleanor is a Senior HR Consultant in the Employment and HR team, based in Penrith.
She joined the team in 2016 to provide a hands on, solution focused HR and advisory service to employers, dealing with HR and employment matters.
A Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Eleanor is an experienced HR professional and holds a certificate in workplace mediation. She has worked for major employers in the public, private and third sectors, such as London Borough of Bexley Council, Lancashire County Council, Eden Housing Association, Center Parcs and Westmorland Ltd. Examples of her extensive experience include:
- advising and supporting operational managers when dealing with disciplinaries, grievances, capability issues and sickness absence
- managing change, restructuring and redundancies
- development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and
- developing and delivering training.
Eleanor’s role at Burnetts involves working with clients to manage a wide range of difficult HR issues, including performance and capability issues, disciplinary matters, redundancy procedures, settlement agreements, TUPE and grievances. She particularly enjoys investigation work.
