Emma is a Trainee Solicitor in the firm's Family law team.

Emma Armstrong joined Burnetts as a trainee solicitor in September 2016 following a number of successful work experience placements within the firm during her studies.

Emma currently works within the Family Law team at Burnetts advising on: The financial and property aspects of divorce, seperation of unmarried couples, cases involving children and pre-nuptial/post-nuptial agreements.

A former pupil of Caldew School in Dalston, Emma studied at Newcastle University and then went on to achieve a Distinction in her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Northumbria University. Emma will qualify as a solicitor in September 2018 and will continue to work in a permanant role in Burnetts' family team. 

Emma is an active member of Caldbeck Young Farmers and Upper Eden tug of war club. She has previously worked for the Northern Fells Group as a Youth Coordinator, organising activities for local young people, and continues to be involved in the local community.

Emma owns her own flock of pedigree Beltex sheep, which she regularly takes to local agricultural shows.
