Joanne is a Partner and Heads up the Agribusiness team.
Joanne is an experienced agricultural solicitor who advises a wide range of clients in all areas of agribusiness including; land ownership, buying and selling farms, re-financing, landlord and tenant issues and farm partnerships.
Originally from West Cumbria, she began her legal career by graduating from Newcastle University in 2006 and York's College of Law in 2007.
She subsequently completed her training contract with Cumbrian firm Cartmell Shepherd and qualified as an agricultural solicitor in 2008 before joining Burnetts in 2013. She became a Partner in 2019.
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family, music gigs and festivals, dog walking and the gym.
