Liz Wilson
Senior Associate
Liz is a Senior Associate in the family team, based in Carlisle.
Liz advises clients on all aspects of divorce, separation, matrimonial finances, cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and cases involving children.
Liz graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first class honours degree in Geography. Following that she obtained an MA in Media & Communication Studies from Goldsmiths College, University of London. After working for a niche market research company in London she completed her legal training at the College of Law in London and her training contract at Olswang in London. On qualification in 2003 Liz joined Knocker & Foskett Solicitors in Kent. She moved to Cumbria in 2007 and has worked locally ever since most recently at Bendles LLP before joining Burnetts’ family team in May 2022.
Liz is a member of Resolution, an association of family lawyers who try to resolve cases amicably. Outside of work Liz enjoys fellrunning, wild swimming and spending time with family.
