Megan Richardson
Senior Associate
Megan is a Senior Associate in the Agribusiness and Commercial Property teams, based in Carlisle.
Having graduated with a first class law degree from Northumbria University, Megan joined Swinburne Maddison LLP in Durham where she completed her Solicitor training. Post-qualification, she remained with Swinburne Maddison as a Solicitor in their commercial property and agricultural team until joining Burnetts in September 2016. After being with Burnetts for only 15 months, Megan was promoted to Associate Solicitor from January 2018.
Megan has a combined expertise in Commercial and Agricultural property law advising on: farm business tenancies, farm sales and purchases and farming partnerships from an agricultural perspective as well as sales and acquisitions and landlord and tenant matters in the commercial property sector.
Megan also supports the growing Corporate team at Burnetts in both agricultural and commercial property matters being involved in high value corporate transactions.
Megan lives on the outskirts of Carlisle. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, running, walking and countryside pursuits.
