Paul is a Partner in the Corporate team based in Newcastle.
Paul qualified in London before returning to the North East. He has specialised for over 20 years in corporate M&A, plus general company and commercial work, advising individuals and businesses on business and company acquisitions and disposals, corporate finance, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, succession planning, partnerships and LLPs, contracts, charities and company structures and formation. Paul has a particular interest in resolving director and/or shareholder disputes before they get to litigation.
Paul has been a trustee of a North East dementia charity and before that, of a Newcastle and Rift Valley Kenya charity which provided legal aid support to thousands of Kenyan children.
Paul lives in rural Hexham in the beautiful Tyne Valley, where his interests include cycling, swimming, cooking and gardening.
