Commercial Property Partner
Phil Dean
Phil is an experienced Solicitor working in our Commercial Property team at Citygate in Newcastle.
He studied in Newcastle and after completing his degree, worked for a number of well-known law firms, working closely with their PFI and Insolvency teams and acting for national housebuilders, UK banks, major North East businesses and national retailers. He then set up his own firm PG Legal, which was nominated for Property Law Firm of the Year in the North East England Insider Media Property Awards before he left.
Phil joined us as Commercial Property Partner in March 2026 and specialises in commercial developments, landlord and tenant and portfolio management for clients.
He has extensive experience with high street portfolios having acted for The Works Bookstores and Arcadia Group.
