Rachel Elliott
Paralegal
Rachel is a Paralegal in the Agribusiness team, based in Carlisle.
Rachel supports agricultural clients in relation to a wide range of issues including buying and selling farms or land, refinancing, carrying out deeds audits and providing assistance with any Land Registry issues.
Rachel grew up in Carlisle in a farming family and has a lifelong interest in agriculture: she understands the day-to-day running of a farm, so can understand first-hand the impact that legal issues can have.
Rachel joined Burnetts as a Practice Support Assistant in 2011 after leaving William Howard School in Brampton. She established herself as an integral component of the Agribusiness team and progressed to become a Paralegal in 2016. Rachel is currently studying with CILEx Law School to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Outside of work, Rachel helps out on the family farm and loves walking her dogs. She also loves baking when time allows.
