Rebecca is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Property Finance team, based in Newcastle.
She acts for lenders and their clients handling both commercial and residential property refinances and purchases, including dealing with foreign companies, new developments and healthcare matters. Her great efficiency means that she is particularly adept at dealing with large property portfolios. As an expert on trust structures, Rebecca also handles agricultural matters for lenders.
Rebecca also deals with other security (such as debentures, guarantees, charges over shares and Deeds of Priority or Postponement) as well as drafting facility agreements and variations.
Having grown up in the North-East, Rebecca completed her law degree at Durham University and achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University. She completed her training contract at McKeags in 2007 and now has over a decade’s experience in commercial property and banking finance. Rebecca joined Burnetts in March 2017.
Outside of work, Rebecca is married with two children. She enjoys running and is part of a local women’s running group.
