Sarah is a solicitor in Burnetts' Commercial Property team
Sarah Loan is a solicitor in Burnetts’ Commercial Property team. She joined Burnetts in 2015, qualifying as a solicitor on her very first day.
She completed her training with Bowcock Cuerden LLP in Cheshire where she worked first as a paralegal and then as a trainee solicitor.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Sarah came to England to study Law at Hull University. She moved to Cumbria to take up her role at Burnetts.
Sarah’s work includes advising clients on the sale and purchase of commercial land and property, as well as negotiating and drafting leases and providing guidance on land issues such as mines and minerals rights. She plays an active role in the firm’s education team and has advised schools on the property aspects of academy conversion.
A keen rower, she was recently part of a team which completed an 88 km sponsored row along the Caledonian Canal in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance and Talkin Tarn Amateur Rowing Club.
