Sophi Al-Tikriti
Senior Associate
Sophi is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property team, based in Carlisle.
Originally from Carlisle, Sophi worked in Manchester for a number of years where she qualified as a solicitor at JMW Solicitors after completing her law degree at the University of Law, Manchester. Sophi moved back to Carlisle to be closer to family in September 2018 working at Baines Wilson before joining Burnetts in May 2022.
Sophi has experience working on a wide range of commercial transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, drafting and negotiating leases, refinancing, portfolio management and development work.
Sophi is an active committee member for the Association of Women in Property.
Outside of work, Sophi has two children and spends her (little) free time decorating and trying to get away in her caravan as often as possible.
