We are looking for an IT Trainer with solid technical skills and an engaging, people-friendly approach that builds trust and confidence. In this role, you will help shape how our people work smarter with technology, creating a positive experience that encourages adoption and enthusiasm.
You will design and deliver training tailored to roles and workflows both in person and online, spending time with teams to understand their needs and identify opportunities for improvement. A key part of the role is coordinating our IT Champions network to ensure knowledge and best practice cascades effectively across the firm.
You will work extensively with:
- Microsoft 365, including advanced tools such as Copilot
- NetDocuments for document management
- Partner 4 Windows and Actionstep for practice management
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, role specific training and coaching that builds digital confidence
- Create clear, user friendly materials and learning pathways for different teams
- Relaunch and support the IT Champions network, equipping colleagues to share and embed best practice
- Partner with team leads to identify opportunities for smarter, simpler workflows
- Stay ahead of technology changes through continuous learning, including vendor resources, monthly calls, and self-development
- Travel occasionally to other office locations to deliver training and support as required
What You Will Bring
- An engaging and approachable style that makes learning enjoyable and builds strong relationships
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into everyday language
- Experience delivering training in person and online, ideally with M365 and modern workplace tools
- Sector experience: Law firm experience is desirable but not essential. We also welcome candidates from professional services or teaching backgrounds
- Curiosity and initiative to understand workflows and improve how technology is used
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car, as occasional travel to other sites will be required
