We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Operations Administrator to join our busy Operations team. Based at our Carlisle office. You will play a key role in supporting our Head of Operations and Operations Assistant, helping to keep everything running smoothly across our offices.
What you’ll be doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Handling general day‑to‑day administrative tasks
- Providing cover, including meet‑and‑greet duties and phone support, both at Carlisle and across our regional offices
- Supporting Health & Safety activities
- Booking in and escorting visiting contractors
- Maintaining digital files and reference materials within Operations
- Updating and managing departmental spreadsheets and files
- Assisting with hospitality events when required
- Occasional travel (a driving licence and business‑use insurance is therefore preferred)
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with a ‘can‑do’ attitude, who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support.
You’ll need:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisation and time‑management abilities
- Confident IT skills and a willingness to learn
- A positive, proactive approach to tasks and challenges
